Chelsea and the Highline

Shot on 16mm, this experimental film captures the High Line from 4 PM to 8 PM on October 11th. From here, I see Hoboken, where I used to live, and the tall apartment building near my grandparents’ house in Union City. People are scattered across the space, each absorbed in their own world. For me, it offers a sense of distance and perspective, evoking a familiar feeling- adolescence, movement, and change.

5D is an intimate 16mm black-and-white reversal study of two artists and roommates—their bodies, minds, and artistic expressions. Capturing both their parallels and divergences, the quiet synchronicities, and the striking contrasts in how they move, think, and create. Their shared space becomes a stage for the unspoken rhythms of cohabitation, where identity and artistry intertwine.
